WHO WE ARE

  • Sino-Canada Ceramic Association (SCCA) is devoted to building bridge crossing the Pacific Ocean.


  • We believe artists and artistic ideas can overcome barriers and help people from different culture background understand each other better.


  • The SCCA regularly holds art exhibitions, academic lectures, hands-on workshops, and other activities to support the local ceramic community.


  • Our mission is to advance the practice, research, and understanding of this material for the benefits of our members and artists.


  • We are open to new member and we welcome every ceramic enthusiast. Our membership includes a range of professional ceramicists, pottery hobbyists, art students and instructors who show their work nationally and internationally.

Making A Difference

CHINA CERAMIC TOUR

True Rich Ceramic Exchange

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Culture exchange is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working really hard to make it possible. On Oct 15th, 2019, five artists from both Canada and US started their 10 days China Ceramic Exchange tour from Yixing City to Jingdezheng City, climaxed on the ceremony that Amy, one of our Canadian artist win the top award at Yixing Teapot International Competition.

ZISHA WORKSHOP

Helping The Community

On August 17, 2019, at Lipont Galley, Richmond, SCCA organized its first Professional Development workshop, invited famous Chinese Zisha Province master Wang Xiaolong and Gao Junli couple to build a Zisha teapot in 6 hours. Over 200 artists, lobbyists and guests attended the event.
